Online workshop on capacity building for public-private partnership

On July 22-23, an online workshop on capacity building for public-private partnership was organized within the framework of the “Support to Ministry of Education in the development of sustainable and various financing sources of education through public private partnership initiatives” project.

The event targeted  staff from relevant departments of the Ministry of Education and Small and Medium Business Development Agency.

At the workshop, the international expert of the project made detailed presentations to the participants on identifying potential PPP projects, testing PPP project ideas, procurement of PPP projects and management of operational PPP projects. Taking into account the requests from the participants which was made during the workshop on July 22, additional topics like the reasons for possible failures and examples of problematic education PPP projects and possible risks in PPP projects was included to the presentations on July 23.

At the end of each session, participants' questions on the topics were answered.

"Support to Ministry of Education in the development of sustainable and various financing sources of education through public private partnership initiatives" project is implemented by a consortium led by IBF International Consulting with the financial support of the European Union (EU).
